I installed the new 2.09 behavior and I'm now getting a weird error everytime I update or do anything with the behavior. It says "A Javascript error occured" and it basically puts a chunk of the behavior code as pure text and then copies the template and head tags twice. So when you run the page there is a huge block of text above the page that is really the pure asp upload code. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and is there a fix or a certain order I need to do things in. I've been using this behavior since it was initially released and I've never had this many problems. I love it so much and just want it to work perfectly again. Thanks.

This is first time I hear this. Maybe you should delete the behavior and insert it again.

George,

I've tried that, then when I have to make a change to a behavior it does what I described again. It also happens if I try to even remove it. I'm using templates but I've never had this problem before. Any ideas are appreciated as I use this behavior religiously.

Thanks,
scott

I have found that a JavaScript error will occur if you have a JavaScript script tag that includes a src file. Apparently Pure ASP tries to insert it JavaScript inside that tag instead of creating its own and it causes the problem. You can fix it by giving it its own script tag.

Awesome! I'm always having problems with Javascript and MX. Especially with Templates. Anyone have some tricks for using Javascript and Templates?

I've had some luck if you detach the templates from the page. You may want to give that a try.

Not really a solution, but a decent workaround.
