My last message may have been a bit confusing... Here is what is happening:

I have set the default value in my database to be a default picture (blank.gif) in the hopes that when i did not upload the image and just left the file field blank, the default image would be displayed. But when i insert the new record, Pure ASP seems to be overwriting that default value of the database field with an empty value. I have read other threads in the forum but none of them seem to give an answer on how to correct this problem. I am not sure what is going on.
