Server Connect Master Update

As we mentioned yesterday, we have a greatly improved version of our DMXzone Server Connect. It comes with a handful of new features. The full list is available in the history tab on it's product page, but let's have a look at the highlights. Probably one of the greatest new things is the new server actions dialog. Now, server actions can be edited and selected directly from the server action dialog. In addition, the new server data executor is also used as  data source on its own. Our developers added options for auto-running server action executors on DOM ready, page load and/or on form submit.

If you have websites, created with older versions of HTML5 Data Bindings don't be afraid, they will remain fully functional. If you have created Database Data Sources for HTML5 Data Bindings they will still work but the new way of connecting to server data is through the new Server Action Executor coming from DMXzone Server Connect (see image).

Update your Server Side Extensions

Along with the huge DMXzone Server Connect update, we have improved version for DMXzone Security Provider PHP/ASP, DMXzone Database Updater PHP/ASP, DMXzone Database Connector PHP/ASP and HTML5 Data Bindings. The great news is that all of these tools are ready for the upcoming HTML5 Form Validator so make sure to get the latest versions. You can do that easily, with just a single click, from our super powerful DMXzone Extension Manager.

Until next Wednesday, you can also get DMXzone Database Connector PHP/ASP with an amazing discount so hurry up and be prepared.

In The Spotlight: Marcel Schmidt

Last, but not least is our user Marcel Schmidt. His story is short, but filled with lots of great website examples created with DMXzone extensions. Marcel is a web developer, the founder of Blikbrein Media and he has been with us for 8 years now. He recently moved from his hometown to Johannesburg, South Africa. But don't think he's ready to settle down with his family right there, because he's already looking to move to Germany later this year.

He also mentioned that he is job hunting in the area of Düsseldorf/Cologne, so if anyone has any tips or if you just want to reach out to Marcel, check out his website Blikbrein Media, connect with him on LinkedIn or send him an e-mail
